He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Lee and Anne Moore Brannon; his wife Carolyn Raye Hurt Brannon; his son Steven Dewayne Brannon; his siblings, Irene Jacobs, Sara Jane Mason, Johnny Fred Brannon, William Ralph Brannon, Richard Brannon, Raymond Brannon and Bobby Mallard; and his siblings-in-law, Rice Jacobs, Ralph Mason, Tommy Foster, David Spain and Charlotte Brannon.
He is survived by: his son Mark Brannon (Laurie); his grandchildren, Stefanie Margañón (Fernando) and Shelby York (Trevor); his stepgrandson Keith Boyce; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Kenleigh, Lizzie, Fernando and Norah; his sisters, Betty Foster, Sheila Spain and Faith Lunsford; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Brannon, Rhonda Brannon, Barbara Brannon and Wanda Mallard; and his friend Kathleen Jones.
