With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Henry Cunningham of Wartrace, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 77. As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leo Cunningham and Henrietta Louise Lay; and his brother Steven Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Faye Jones Cunningham; his sons, Benjamin Scott Cunningham of Wartrace and William Christopher Cunningham of Hillsboro; and his brothers, Larry Cunningham (Cheree) of Ohio and Leo Cunningham (Robin) of Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
