He was predeceased by: his mother Jennie Slone Varney. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wallace Thacker; his sons, Dalton and Dustin Thacker; his father Orville Varney of Phyllis, KY; his brother Jeff Varney (Jennifer) of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Amber Wallace, Quentin Wallace, Abby Wallace, Jenna Hackney, Emma Hackney, Ryder Hackney and Kalum Fernandez; and his nephew Mark Reed Bentley. He is also survived by son; and a host of family and friends.
