With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorena Clay Nicley of Washburn, Tennessee, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Clay and Annie Clay; her former life partner Hubert Nicley; and her daughters, Kaye Nicley and Janice Nicley.

She is survived by : her husband John Earl Nicley; her children, David Nicley (Phoebe), Charlene Bailey, Vickie Dyer and Trisha Sexton (Bill); her siblings, Verlin "Sheriff" Clay (Geneva) and Ilene Ryburn (Tom); her grandchildren, Chris Nicley (Carolyn), Brad Nicley (Stephanie), Jason Lindsey (Christy), Chad Bolden (Becky) and Bethany Winstead (Drew); and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Courtney, Kaytlyn, Isaiah, Mahayley, Braylon, Lylah, Emylynn, Carolyne, Dixie, Sadie, Corbin, Marlie, Brea, Briley, Aiden, Willow and Dawson.
