He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Connie Coffey McCoy; his grandson Lane McCoy; and his siblings, Sharon McAnally and Sam Acuff. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte McCoy; his children, Chris McCoy (Lamanda) and Kim Price; his siblings, Mildred Clark, Mattie Clark, Anita Williams, Stanley Acuff and Jeff Acuff; his brother-in-law Rev. Larry McAnally; his mother-in-law Ruth Bailey; and his siblings-in-law, Mickey Smith and Chris Bailey (Olivia). He is also survived by Six grandchildren, two step- grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harrell Cemetery (680 Campground Rd, Thorn Hill, TN 37881).
