He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Frye and Edgbert Frye; his children, Pam Frye and Scotty Joe Frye; and his brother Ronnie Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Frye; his son Allen; his daughter-in-law Amy Frye; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Danny Collins; his grandchildren, Faith Frye, Ryan Petty (Erica), Megan Dalton (Adam) and Jacob Collins; and his friends, Rev. Randy Beeler, Rev. Danny Collins, Becky, Dillon, Devin and Drew Farmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A procession will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bowles-Needham Cemetery (4242 Tater Valley Rd, Washburn, TN 37888).
