He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda Dillinger; his parents, Herbert Perry and Nelle Perry (Chesney); and his brothers, Alfred Perry, J. C. Perry, John Perry, Kyle Perry and Billy Perry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Woods of Washburn and Sherry Nicely of Washburn; his grandchildren, Shelby Albright, Jordan Nicley, Brittany Bowlin, Jessica Daniel, Ricky Kitts, Kelsey Timmons, Dustin Carpenter and Ryan Carpenter; and his siblings, Dorothy Bowlin of Washburn and Kenny Perry of Washburn. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A procession was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
