He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nicley and Maurine Nicley; his sons, Brad Nicley and Matthew Nicley; his siblings, Joyce Hurst, Leo Nicley and Mark Nicley; and his mother-in-law Inez Merritt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Merritt Nicley; his grandchildren, Noah Nicley, Callie Nicley and Gracee Nicley; his stepgrandchildren, Madelynn Sobolewski and Reece Sobolewski; his daughter-in-law Crystal Nicley; and his siblings, Robert Nicley (Lois), Eileen Arnwine (Dale) and Sandy Munsey (Wesley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807).
