Ada Cable Obituary

We bid farewell to Ada Cable of Watauga, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Ada touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Cable; her brother-in-law Jake Jacob; Lulla Belle Davidge and Norma Jean Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Cable of Elizabethton, TN, Diane Bennett (Tony) of Erwin, TN, Dale Cable (Sherri) of Unicoi, TN and Dallas Cable of Elizabethton, TN; and her grandchildren, Austin Bennett (Sarah), Wesley Cable (Tarrah), Chanda Cable and Dylan Cable. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (1085 N Main Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital.
