With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Morris Greer of Watauga, Tennessee, born in Butler, Tennessee, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Greer and Elva Triplet Greer; his son Darrell Greer; and his siblings, Glenn, Orvil, Tom, Butler, Richard Truett, Harry Greer, Mary Greer, Gladys Blackburn, Irene Greer and Trula Mae Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Brummitt Greer; his daughter Sheila Lyons (Mark) of Johnson City; his grandchildren, Jennica Norman (Andrew) and Josh Smalling (Hillary); his great grandchildren, Emma, Laurel Smalling, Judah, Elias and Maren Norman; and his aunt Dorothy Greer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
