He is survived by: his wife Ellen Dancy (Hess); his children, David Dancy (Jasmine) and Sandra Howard (Terry); his grandchildren, Jackie Barnett (James) and Karen Howard (Terrence); his great grandchildren, Trevon Andrews, Levi Andrews and Allieanna Barnett; and his siblings, Kathleen Campbell, Gene Dancy, Patsy Henderson, Ted Dancy and Lloyd Dancy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683).
