He was predeceased by: his father Ralston Jones; and his siblings, Patsy Lewis and Farris Jones. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jones; his children, Angela Hurley (Preacher Rick Hurley) and Dwayne Jones (Lisa); his granddaughter Amelia Jones; and his siblings, Johnny Jones (Maggie), Mae Johnson, Mary Bell Blevins, Arzella Roush, Kathleen Keys (Reggie), Barbara Roush (Rodney) and Bonnie Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
James requested no flowers to be sent and the family requests no food.
