He was predeceased by: his parents, Larken Scalf and Gladys Scalf of Watauga. He is survived by: his wife Edith Scalf; his children, Wesley Allan (Rachael), Larry Keith (Debra), Christopher Mark Scalf (Amy) and Cindy Edwards (Brett); his grandchildren, Ashlee Eggers, Halee Simerley, Legand, Carys Scalf, Andy, Christopher, Storm Scalf and Nathan Miller; his sister Linda Milhorn; and his aunt Sherry Coffey.
