He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Morris and Rosie Mae Bayne Morris; his wife Annie Lou Fletcher Morris; and his siblings, Nellie Mae Tyree, Pauline Dodd, John Morris and James Morris.
He is survived by: his sister Francis Dodd of Alexandria, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hunter Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Watertown, TN 37184). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church or The Gideon's International.
