She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinz Ahlmeyer and Aurelia Schenk Ahlmeyer; her husband Charles Price; and her brothers, Bill and Heinz Ahlmeyer, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Price (Kristi) and Dr. Greg Price (Page); her grandchildren, Chance Price (Hannah) and Dr. Morgan Price (Michael Leake); and her great grandchildren, Calvin Price and Nelson Price.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Irene's name be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
