LaVonne Walker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVonne Walker of Watertown, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buil James Washer and Jo Doris Baker Washer; her husband William "Billy" Walker; and her in-laws, Gordon and Grace Walker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Kent Beasley), Jill (Tim Chappell) and Cindy (Kelsey Evert); her grandchildren, Brady Chappell, Lola Chappell, Jack Beasley, Ben Beasley, James Evert and Camille Evert; her close friend Glenda Sykes; her sister-in-law Helen Edwards; and her sibling's children, Angie Garrett, Steve Edwards and Tim Edwards.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (101 Locust St, Alexandria, TN 37012). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Billy Walker Memorial Fund at First Baptist Church Pallbearers- Brady Chappell, Jack Beasley, Ben Beasley, James Evert, Steve Edwards, Tim Edwards, Dave Lawrence, Ralph Agee Jr.
