She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayden Brown and Lula Mai Brown; her husband Jerry Stephens; her grandchildren, Alex Stephens, Hudson, Hayden Stephens and Miles Cummins; her siblings, Aubrey Brown, Mildred Kydd, Liz Crabtree, Jimmy Brown and Franklin Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Claiborne, Betty Vandygrift, James Stephens and Marvin Vandygrift.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Stephens of Lebanon, Terra Cummins (Rick) of Louisville, KY and Chris Stephens (Erin) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Jessica Stephens (Britten), Zach Stephens (Micayla), Carly Green (Jackson), Madyson Cummins (Conner) and Preston Stephens; her great grandchildren, Cain Pitts, Aaliyah Stephens, Blaikelyn Gholston, Aubrielle Gholston, Willow Gholston, Cohen Green, Callahan Stephens, Kori McGrew and Cooper Green; and her siblings, Betty Brasher, Dallas Brown (Judy) and John Brown (Betty). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hunter Memorial Park (9767 Sparta Pike, Watertown, TN 37184).
