Patsy left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Leoma Bell Melton and Wiley Gray Melton; her husband William Edward "Billy" Reeder; and her son William Wayne Reeder. She is survived by: her son Patrick (Pamela Reeder); her daughter-in-law Beth Kidwell Reeder; her grandchildren, Bryan Reeder, Sarah Gentry (Destin), Hannah Reeder, Courtney Thomas (Austin) and Madi Reeder; and her great grandchildren, Camden and Emersyn Gentry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Patsy's name to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
