He is survived by : his children, Chris Buchanan of Waverly, TN and Debbie Marrs of Waverly, TN.; his sister Margaret "Peg" Scott of Waverly, TN.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Tyner (Shawn) and Hayden Buchanan (Kinley Spann); his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Flynn and Bella Tyner; and his granddaughters, Missy Nichols (Chris), Amanda Mealer and Mary Beth Ward.
