Jerry Lance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lance of Waverly, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lance and Pauline Lance; his wife Wilma Bennett Lance; and his siblings, Phillip Lance, Roger Lance and Vicki Henson Lance.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Lance, Tracy Helton (Mark) and Diane Lyle (Ray); his granddaughter Holly Lawhorn (Chad); his children, Heather Helton, Brendon Helton (Kara), Nicholas Lyle and Ryan Lyle; his great grandchild Logan Lawhorn; his grandchildren, Aiden Lawhorn, Brady Lawhorn, Henry Helton and John Helton; and his siblings, Joy Hudson (Houston), Gary Lance (Julie) and Don Lance. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home (3501 Old Clarksville Pike, Joelton, TN 37080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
