Jo Owen Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Jo Owen of Waverly, Tennessee. Jo, born on July 15, 1928, passed away on September 20, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Owen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Chester and Theodocia Cole Ward Chester; her husband Charles W. Owen; and her siblings, Eulalia Ward, Harry, Opal and Ben Chester.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Owen Hall (Michael) of Nashville, Tennessee and Jon Owen (Juliette White) of Salt Lake City, Utah; her granddaughter Kelsey Lewis-Pilcher (Loren) of Buffalo; her great grandchild Cain Lewis-Pilcher of Tennessee; and her grandsons, William and Ben Owen of Salt Lake City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Stockdale Funeral Home - Camden (133 N Forrest Ave, Camden, TN 38320). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Benton Memory Gardens (2780 TN-69A, Camden, TN 38320).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in her honor to the United Way of Benton County, the Humphreys County Museum, Alive Hospice, or another charity of your choice.
