She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Cleather Buchanan and Eula Bell Lofton Buchanan; her siblings, Larry Eugene Buchanan, Grace Buchanan, Irene Buchanan, Louise Buchanan, Nancy Jackson and Lonnie Scaggs; her half-brothers, Egbert Buchanan, George Buchanan, Luther Buchanan and Robert Buchanan; her niece Lisa Scaggs Damesworth; and her great-niece Brooklyn Mullinax.
She is survived by: her brother Clyde Buchanan (Brenda); her nieces, Kay Nichols, Carol Mullinax (Tim) and Shannon Binkley; her great-nieces, Natasha Breeden, Kayla Garner, Tinika Francis, Leshae Carney and Cheyenne Nichols; her great-nephew Tyler Binkley; Trevor, Beau, Jasper, Blakely, Christian, Arabella, Haisley, Delray and Coleson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home (2400 TN-13, Waverly, TN 37185). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
