He is survived by : his children, Robert Gregory Unger, Jeremy Allen Brooks (Victoria) of New Johnsonville, TN, Julia Lynette Brooks of Waverly, TN and Deanna Dawn Brooks of Waverly, TN.; his siblings, Jeffery Wade Brooks (Valerie) of Waverly, TN., Brenda Paulette Richard (Eddie) of Calhoun, GA, Robin Annette Brooks of McEwen, TN and Melissa Dawn Cleek (Ed) of Middleton, TN.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Lyn Mayberry, Justace Danielle Hughey, Allison Holland, Alexas R. Sabye, Makayla Rheanne Gibson, Micah Christopher Gibson, Ayden Christopher Brooks, Tylan Jace Brooks, Zoie Rae Cooksey, Jada Rhae and Cooksey; and his great grandchildren, Ledger Hayes Mebane, Kayson James Guthrie, Mercy Danielle Gillahan and Grace Amora Gillahan.
