He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Ann Ladd Werfel and Walter Leo Werfel; and his brother David Werfel. He is survived by : his wife Karen Werfel of Waverly, TN; his children, Dr. Krystal Werfel (Edgar Santana) of Papillion, NE, Stacie Werfel of Nashville, TN and Dr. Thomas Werfel (Ashton) of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Finley Beth Werfel, Walter Carson Werfel, Benjamin Lee Santana and Bryce Rafael Santana; and his brother Larry Werfel.
