She was predeceased by : her parents, Hobert Gobbell and Roxie Nutt Gobbell; her husband John Anderson Matney; her daughter Karen Sue Matney; and her siblings, Naomi Creecy and James Gobbell.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara Sullivan of Manchester, Charlotte Snider (Glenn) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Jerry Dayle Matney (Stella) of New Johnsonville, Tennessee; and her brother Revis Gobbell (Ruth Ann) of Eads, Tennessee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
