He is survived by : his wife Patricia Matthews; his children, Pam Matthews, Jessica Matthews and Jason Matthews (Sierra); and his sister Barbara Reed of Waynesboro, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
