He is survived by : his wife Sandra Lacher Pitts of Waynesboro, TN; his children, Johna Pitts of Richmond, VA, Martha Pitts of Murfreesboro, TN and John Ross Pitts II of Mt. Juliet, TN; his sister Sandy Pitts Martin of Waynesboro, TN; his mother-in-law Flora Evelyn Lacher of Waynesboro, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Pitts of Savannah, TN and Richard Lacher (Carolyn) of Waynesboro, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
