He was predeceased by : his parents, Bertha Ellen Kelly Rochell and William Richard Rochell; and his siblings, Odell, Ray, Floyce, David, Lois and Joan.

He is survived by : his siblings, Thomas, Gary, Ken, Joy and Faye; and his children, Rachel, Nicole, Desiree, Anthony, Christopher, Richard, Jason and John. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
