He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Ray Comer and Thelma Erlene Hobbs; his sisters, Donna Comer, Janet Comer and Tammy Comer-Rory; and his nephew Levi Comer.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Howard Golliher Comer; his children, Jeremy Comer, Travis Comer, Shannon Comer and Amanda Pierce (Greg); his grandchildren, Zachary Comer (Tosha), Brennen Cook, DeLana Roberts, Deseray Watson (Luke), Ethan Pierce, Keaton Pierce (Taylor), Brandon Pierce, Ayden Pierce and Peyton Pierce; his great grandchildren, Elise Parsons, Lydia Parsons, Timber Comer, Ella Watson, Paisley Pierce and Rynleigh Pierce; and his siblings, Gary Comer (Linda), Mary Carter (Dana), Elise Holman (Randy), Ricky Comer (Julie), Tim Comer (Missy) and April Alcorn (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Westel Volunteer fire Department or the Crossville Church of Christ in Darrell's memory.
