She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fredrick and Sonya Marie; and her husband Joseph Merkel. She is survived by: her children, Karey Merkel-Kildow of Seminole and Joseph Merkel II (Ashley) of Gallatin; her siblings, Jon, Joann, Sue, Rick, Jimmy and David; and her grandchildren, Kourtney Wilson (Bailey), Caleb Kildon (Kayla), Jospeh Merkel III, William Merkel and Thomas Merkel.
