Brenda Sue Ferguson Obituary

We announce the death of Brenda Sue Ferguson (Westmoreland, Tennessee), who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 79. Brenda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Brenda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Brenda will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Brenda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille "Lou" Cochran-Davis and Ralph Cochran; and her granddaughter Rebekkah "Bekki" Scruggs. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Gene" Ferguson; her daughters, Michelle McLane (Matt), Danielle Scruggs (Marty) and Chandra Wilkerson (Daniel); her granddaughters, Jessica McLane and Roni Scruggs; and her brother Ronald "Ronnie" Cochran (Shirley).
