He was predeceased by : his father Claude Benton Thompson; his sons, Claude Thompson and Johnnie Thompson; and his brother Jerry Thompson. He is survived by : his daughter Linda Brown (Thomas Thacker); his grandchildren, Samuel Thompson, Gary Haines, Christopher Conley and Neriah Thompson; and his siblings, Penny Allen, Betty Fox and Martin Thompson.
