It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Carter Kennedy (Westmoreland, Tennessee), who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Carter, Jr. and Polly Shoulders Carter. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Gay (Lesley Michael); her husband Mike; her child Lesley (Dale); her grandchildren, Paxton and Cade; and her siblings, Polly, George III (Cyndy) and Emily. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church Hendersonville Back Pack Ministry, Food Bank of Sumner County or to Foreign Missions.
