He is survived by : his wife Lillie Louise Crews Smith; his stepchildren, Teresa Simmons (Jimmy), Debbie Ellis (Dale), Lamar Weed (Cindy), Michelle McMurtry and Erica Vaughn; and his sisters, Sheila Odoms and Cindy Allen. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.
