He was predeceased by : his daughters, Denise Stacey and Cathy Yarbrough; his granddaughter Melissa Yarbrough; his great great grandchild Demontay Dixon Jr.; his siblings, Archie Stacey, Zola Hall, Robbie Goodman, Lorelle Linzy, Verdie Stacey, Wade Stacey and Amye Stacey; and his parents, Paul Stacey and Eara Stacey.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce England Stacey; his daughter Lisa Dampf (Tom); his grandchildren, Amanda Cole (Jeff), Jessica Sanders (Thad), Alex Dampf (Sara) and Stacey Armstead (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Christopher, Adrianna, Jasmine, Antonio, Demontay, Dontae, Javien, Travis, Jayce, Mosiah, Josie, Callie, Kam, Remi and Noa; and his great great grandchildren, Isaia and Elijah.
