With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila Beatrice Buttrey Martin of White Bluff, Tennessee, born in Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 11, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, W. B. Buttrey and Eddie Lee Larkins Buttrey; her husband Paul G. Martin; and her siblings, Julian Buttrey, Roscoe Buttrey, Reuben Buttrey and Bessie Bradley.

She is survived by : her children, Paula Martin Thornhill of Fairhope, AL and Gerald Ross Martin of Huntsville, AL; and her siblings, Calvin Buttrey (Freddie) of Lenoir City, TN and Eddie Lee King (Lyle) of Arab, AL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
