Brenda P. Walden Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda P. Walden of White House, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Davis Pirtle Sr. and Mary Latitia Carney Pirtle; her former husband Richard Lavoy Taylor; her husband Virgil Lee Walden "Duddy"; and her siblings, Joe Willoughby Pirtle (Peggy), Sam Davis Pirtle Jr. "Sonny" (Hazel), Phillip Elliot Pirtle, Helen Pirtle, Marilyn Sue Bearden (Frank) and Evelyn Jewell Knight "Judy" (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her brother Aaron Eddie Pirtle "Honkie" (Judy); and her son Davis Lavoy Taylor (Debbie L. Taylor). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center Fund in honor of her great-nephew, Michael "Goob" Young.
