It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Jo Elrod of White House, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee Underhill and Pauline Corlew Underhill; her husband James Elrod (Jimmy); her siblings, Velma Hart and Raymond Underhill; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Hudgins and Danny McEuen.
She is survived by: her sisters, Peggy Harrell (Randy) and Etta McEuen; her sister-in-law Peggy Underhill; her children, Wendell Elrod (Charlene) and Judy Snyder (Troy); her grandchildren, Joshua Snyder (Kirsten), Chase Snyder (Abbie), Heath Snyder (Lauren), Taylor Brickles (Bryson) and Traci Elrod; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Snyder and Macy Lea Snyder.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn (1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
