He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Darby Garrett; his parents, Elmer Garrett and Allie Hardaway Garrett; his daughters, Brenda Garrett Vaughn and Glenda Garrett Smith; and his son-in-law Ron Smith.
He is survived by: his son Larry Garrett (Sherry); his great grandchild Willard Garrett; and his son-in-law Don Vaughn. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
