He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Pauline Johnson; his former wife Juanita; his son Mike Johnson; his siblings, Judy, Janet and R. B.; and his stepson Ronnie Dennison.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Brian; his sister Kathy Muncy; his son David Dennison (Penny); his niece Sharon Tarman; and his nephew Boomer Muncy. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.
