With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Wayne Denton of White Pine, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Denton and Leona "Toni" Sutton Denton; his son DeWayne Denton; and his siblings, Deloris Mason, George Denton, Larry "Bear" Denton and Jerry Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Donnie" Strange Denton; his daughter Pon "Ponnie" Jones (John Jones) of White Pine; his granddaughters, Sarah Grace and Haley Jones; and his brothers, Charles Denton (Susan), Michael Denton, Ricky Denton (Gail) and Steve Denton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nina Baptist Church (641 TN-113, White Pine, TN 37890). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Swann's Chapel Cemetery (1309 Waterfront Dr, Dandridge, TN 37725).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts in memory of Robert be made to the Nina Baptist Church, 641 Hwy. 113, White Pine, TN 37890.
