He is survived by: his wife Margaret Cope; his daughter Balinda McKinney (Donnie); his grandchildren, Roger Cope, Gabrielle Waldron (Larry) of Kingsport, TN and Moriah Smith (Casey) of Morristown; his great grandchildren, Alex Cope of Bulls Gap, Adley, Hallie Smith of Morristown, Micah and Cutler Waldron of Kingsport; his siblings, Kenneth Cope (Joyce) of Bull Gap and Winnie McCracken; and his friend Jason "Pud" Cotter.
