We announce the death of Emma E. Woods of Whitesburg, Tennessee, who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 97. Emma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Woods and Ella Mae Woods (Wice); and her siblings, R. T. Woods, Bill Woods, Jimmy Woods, Ed Woods and Louise "Tensie" Stephenson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Loveday and Dorothy Akard. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
