He is survived by: his wife Anita Mills Thomas; his children, Stacey Thomas and Scarlett Carter (Clint); his brother Jerry Thomas (Marie); his grandchildren, Michelle Melton (Jon Davis), Austin Melton, Desi and Angel Carter; and his great grandchild Maeve Melton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
