He is survived by: his children, Tara Polston (Jerry Hewlett) of Rossville, Ronda Hobbs (Chris) of Bartlett, Joel Peterson (Cindy) of Heber Springs, AR, Sasha Peterson (Scott Stroud) of Collierville and Justin Peterson (Shalane Coleman) of Whiteville; his grandchildren, Grayson Hobbs, Evan Hobbs and Kelsey Peterson; and his brothers, Larry Peterson of Vildo and Jerry Peterson of Williston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude (Memphis, TN) or Midway Baptist Church (Whiteville, TN).
