He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Edward Watson, Sr. and Mary Olene Whittemore Watson; his son Gustus Lewis Watson; and his sister Linda Hill. He is survived by: his spouse Keitha Hieneman Watson; his children, Mandy Johns of Whiteville and Zachary Phibbs of Troy, OH; his sisters, Sherry McBride of Whiteville, Patricia Paris of Whiteville and Melissa Houy of Brownsville; and his grandchildren, Hunter Austin Johns, Autumn Denton (Blake), Ian and Ryan Phibbs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
