He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Beck, and Viola Beck, Sr.; his children, Eric Scott Beck and Tiffany M. Beck; and his brother Clifford Beck.

He is survived by : his son Richard Allen Chumley; his daughter-in-law Crystal of Forest, VA; his daughter Crystal M. Beck of Covington, TN; and his grandchildren, Emily Addison Chumley, Kamryn Elizabeth Chumley, Haley Nicole Beck, Landon Tyler Phillips, Breenan Cole Moon, Terrica Michelle Beck, Robert Lee Beck, Easton Matthew Cagle and Mattie Grace Cagle.
