With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Lynn Vandergriff of Whitwell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Dwight Vandergriff; her father Lewis Caldwell; and her grandparents, Noami Nunley, Ruby and Hill Caldwell.

She is survived by : her sons, Patrick Holder of Chattanooga and Justin Holder (Brittany) of Winchester; her mother Ethel "Checie" Nunley Caldwell of Whitwell; her sisters, Gayla Nunley (Eddie) of Whitwell and Diane Brown (James) of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Ethan Holder, Lakelynn Holder, Layla Holder and Grayson Holder; her nieces and nephews, Karrie Martin and Jesse Rankin; her great-niece Maddie Martin; and her great-nephew Noah Martin.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
