We announce the death of Dennis Morrison of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 72. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy Morrison; his mother Betty Jo Smith Morrison; and his brother Stuart Morrison. He is survived by: his son Jason Morrison (Donna); his father Thomas Ray Morrison; his siblings, Michael Morrison (Patty) and Ingrid Long (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Raven Carpenter, Barrett Long (Kirsten) and Jacob Long (Destiny); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kasen Long, Jasic Long, Elly Kate Long, Kendall Johns and Clayton Johns.
A reception was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home (795 Morrison Spring Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397).
