He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Garland Holder and Gladys Holder; and his siblings, Brice Holder and Connie Holder. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Layne Holder; his sons, Patrick Holder (Rachel), Justin Holder (Brittany), Travis Goforth (Sarah) and Trevor Goforth; his siblings, Jean McClendon, Pat Durham, Clara Henderson and Dwight Holder; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Layla, Lexton, Lakelynn, Grayson, Landon, Paizley, Ryker and Beckham.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (8150 Griffith Hwy, Whitwell, TN 37397).
